Desert Palms Hotel & Suites, Anaheim Hotels Reviews

Address: 631 West Katella Avenue, Anaheim, CA 92802-3410

This was a nice hotel and a good base for visiting Disney and California Adventure. We just got back after staying 4 nights here. The room we had was comfortable, clean and quiet. There is free parking both above and below ground, free wi-fi and free breakfast buffet. The buffet is some type of egg dish each day, sausage patties,…More

Stayed in this property, prepaid by travel agent. Hotel took credit card authorisation on arrival, just for any incidentals, said a holding. Guess what the full amount of the stay has been debited to the card, plus a further night taken twice. We no longer have access to our funds whilst on holidays. So disappointed. More disappointed that the hotel…More

This was our third stay at the Desert Palms in the last 3 years, and besides the odd elevator situation, we are extremely happy with our choice. I believe we've stayed on the second floor during every visit and despite the elevator concerns, we continue to enjoy staying on that particular floor (go figure!).There were two concerns, not necessarily…More

One of the best hotels close to Disneyland! Room was outstanding, beds were extremely comfortable and definitely a great place to crash after a long time in the parks. The hotel staff was amazing from the second we walked through the door until the moment we left. Would definitely stay here again!

This is the best place for your money if you want to visit Disneyland and California Adventure.Location – It is a very short walk to the entrance of both parks. I'd say it's just as close as Paradise Pier. The only negative is that on the corner bus stop, there's always several homeless people. Not the hotel's fault, but…More

We usually stay at the Fairfield Inn when we go to Disneyland but need more space for our family of five. A Disney travel rep recommended the Desert Palms for our family. We stayed in the kids suite with the bunk beds and hide a bed. The hide a bed seemed pretty uncomfortable, but one of our kids slept on…More

We loved our stay at the Desert Palms Hotel & Suites! Everyone working there is so friendly (shout out to Omar who was especially sweet and helpful!) The place is beautiful, warm and welcoming! They were remodeling while we were there, and the design is spectacular. Our rooms were so nice and clean and comfortable. They have a little cafe…More

The staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clean even with some construction going on. Our room was spacious and the beds quite comfortable. The breakfast had a lot of choices though perhaps some more fresh fruit would've been great. Aside from that, there is more than enough choices for even the pickiest eaters. Loved that parking and…More

It was what we expected. Nothing more than a couple of days stop over. Couldn't and wouldn't spend a week here. Pool is ok, rooms are clean, staff are good. Should have paid more money to be more central in the city and in a better hotel that is suitable for kids. Not a lot for kids to do at…More

This hotel is great. The room we had was a one bedroom suite with full size bunk beds for the kids. Enough room for 2 adults and 2 kids. The kids had their own room/space. The breakfast was decent. Only a short 10 minute walk to Disneyland. The hotel was in walking distance to all restaurants. The staff was great….More
