Downtown Inn & Suites Hotel, Asheville Hotels ReviewsAddress: 120 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28801-3241 (Formerly Days Inn)
This hotel is located in the heart of downtown and within walking distance to art stores and many restaurants and pubs.Parking was cramped but they did have an overflow lot within one block. Rooms were clean and adequate. They did have refrigerator, micro and coffee maker. FREE Breakfast was actually pretty good with multiple selections. Rooms are accessible from…More
This has a great location within walking distance to many breweries and restaurants.. no frills, nothing special, room was clean, staff was acceptable, breakfast was included although there wasn't a huge selection..
We stayed the night on Sept 14 and the clerk at the front desk wearing a bandanna was very rude. Asked her a question and received nothing but attitude. She was still there in the morning and continued to give out the worst look. Very unpleasant.
This individual stayed on night of September 14, 2016. Around 2:30am in the morning the guests came to lobby and wanted to use the pool. The desk clerk that they have mentioned tried to explain to them the rule that the pool is closed at this time and will not be open until 8 am. They continued to argue with…More Travelers are raving about these Asheville hotels Aloft Asheville Downtown Show Prices Haywood Park Hotel Show Prices Hotel Indigo Asheville Downtown Show Prices Hyatt Place Asheville / Downtown Show Prices Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Asheville West (Biltmore Estate) Show Prices TimzorrrSeattleLevel Contributor 148 reviews 21 hotel reviews68 helpful votes
If you need a hotel for a night in downtown Asheville, close to lots of restaurants and the big Park, The Downtown Inn and Suites is right there. It's an easy walk to the center of Asheville. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is parking on sight. The free breakfast is minimal. You will pay "Inn and Suite" prices….More
We are sorry for the inconvenience to this guest. It is unfortunate that in spite of re-doing the lobby and upgrading all the rooms we were unable to satisfy this customer.More NC_girl4Level Contributor 9 reviews 4 hotel reviews2 helpful votes
We have stayed here many times and have never been disappointed. If you are looking for luxury this is not for you. If you are looking for clean and inexpensive this is your place!!! Close to everything downtown Asheville has to offer and pet friendly too. Ok breakfast, nothing any different from any other chain. We have stayed here may…More
Front desk was unattended. Waited 10 minutes to check in. Lobby looks a shamble and extremely outdated. Elementary age child was pushing housekeeping cart onto elevator and different child was in laundry area folding linens. Walkways from elevators to room with different colors of paint. Actual room a disaster. Toilet tissue pushed into holes in bathroom ceiling tiles. Soft floor…More
We are unable to locate any record of this guest staying with us.We have 6,000 square feet of walk ways at our hotel, which we are currently painting in sections, so different colors at a given day is something we can cannot avoid. The rooms are not a disaster they have all been updated. There is no room with…More bcerbellicharlotte.Level Contributor 105 reviews 15 hotel reviews60 helpful votes
So first the Great, the staff. They were all so very friendly and helpful, top notch! The Good was the location. You can walk to everywhere downtown and that was perfect. The Bad, the hotel itself. Its just very old. They had new AC and TVs in the room. The rooms also had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker….More
Thank you for the review. We and others have considered rebuilding at this location and that is still in future plans. The only problem we see is that we are the only hotel in downtown that is charging $350-$500 less than the other hotels in the downtown..We do have an overflow parking lot for larger vehicles.More Clay FYadkinville, North CarolinaLevel Contributor 53 reviews 12 hotel reviews6 helpful votes
This hotel is located near all the beer, and shopping in downtown Asheville. It seems very cost effective compared to the other downtown lodging. On this trip it was half the cost of the others, and only slightly more than hotels which were driving distance from downtown. The hotel has a nice pool. It's very worn looking and is in…More
We had a great time in Asheville staying in this motel. We were able to walk to just about everything we wanted to, the area felt safe, and the price was significantly lower than anything else in the area. It's an older place, so it's not the most luxurious stay, but it was clean and fairly large. Parking was tight:…More
The hotel is quite old, with dated hallways and ugly wallpaper. But the location can't be beat. It is walking distance from everything you want to do in Asheville. It has a good continental breakfast, and a nice outdoor pool. The room was clean and comfortable with a comfy bed, free wife and quiet air conditioning.
