I love everything about this hotel. I've been visiting there for 25 maybe 30 years. I used to visit it just to look around, back when I couldn't afford to stay there. I love the character, the charm, the smell of the fire burning on their huge hearth, the enormous collection of vintage craftsman furniture, and the Christmas decorations throughout….More

I wish I could love this place. I know everyone does. The views are gorgeous, the food is good. If you are lucky enough to get a rocker, it's so nice to sit in front of the fires in the lobby. Unfortunately, most people "settle in" and don't realize lots of other guests would like to sit there too. Or…More

Great stay with excellent service at this historic hotel. We chose this hotel for the proximity to Mt. Mitchell (which we climbed from black mountain campground). Enjoyed the restaurants and loved the spa! Do not miss that experience.Review collected in partnership with Omni Hotels & Resorts This business uses tools provided by TripAdvisor (or one of its official Review Collection Partners) to encourage and collect guest reviews, including this one.

Plus Sides: Vanderbilt wing, Premier Room Lounge, level 11: Cecille and all of the other staff are very warm and helpful. Breakfasts and afternoon cocktail experiences were quite enjoyable. Doormen, drivers and valets are exceedingly friendly and made us feel appreciated. Sunsets on the terrace are very enjoyable as are the live music and open fireplaces. Great get away in an amazing hotel. Very close to downtown Asheville with great restaurants and breweries. Highly suggest the Blue Ridge Parkway for hikes/scenery and Sierra Nevada and New Belgium for activities.Review collected in partnership with Omni Hotels & Resorts This business uses tools provided by TripAdvisor (or one of its official Review Collection Partners) to encourage and collect guest reviews, including this one.

I want to enthusiastically commend Kier Wilcox for going above and beyond the call of duty. Kier assisted my wife on our honeymoon bookings with the Omni GPI. Kier helped answer all my pertinent questions, helped us book our room, along with the white water rafting adventure. All while being enroute from our previous Nashville location. Unfortunately the white water…More Review collected in partnership with Omni Hotels & Resorts This business uses tools provided by TripAdvisor (or one of its official Review Collection Partners) to encourage and collect guest reviews, including this one.

This hotel built in 1913 is amazing – Spa, Views, 11th floor Hospitality Room, Restaurants, Guest Rooms. The Blue Ridge Mountains were especially beautiful when we were there in mid October. We plan to experience this all again next fall. We highly recommend the 11th floor (Private Club Rooms) and visiting the spa, lunch on the Sunset Terrace, Relaxing in…More Review collected in partnership with Omni Hotels & Resorts This business uses tools provided by TripAdvisor (or one of its official Review Collection Partners) to encourage and collect guest reviews, including this one.

The Omni Grove Park Inn is absolutely my favorite hotel ever. They have the most amazing breakfast buffet at the Blue Ridge Dining Room, and the entire building is a masterpiece. Love the fireplaces in the entrance and the Sunset Terrace is a great place for dinner. I am looking forward to my next visit.Review collected in partnership with Omni Hotels & Resorts This business uses tools provided by TripAdvisor (or one of its official Review Collection Partners) to encourage and collect guest reviews, including this one.

My friends and I did not stay at this Hotel, but we had Dinner here one night. The entrance is impressive, with the lighted trees and the view of the Smoky Mountains ,is fantastic! We had to wait a bit, but it was worth it. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was very good. The cost…More

We spent the weekend here for a wedding. Everything was wonderful from the check-in process to the check-out process. We stayed in the original house and our room was very nice and quaint. Beautiful view. We were able to leave our windows open the entire time which was a nice touch. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and we will definitely…More Review collected in partnership with Omni Hotels & Resorts This business uses tools provided by TripAdvisor (or one of its official Review Collection Partners) to encourage and collect guest reviews, including this one.
