La Renaissance Suites Hotel, Atlantic City Hotels ReviewsAddress: 190 S Kentucky Ave, Atlantic City, NJ 08401-7018
, Resort is CLOSED.It went bankrupt & owners should have received a letter from the attorney Bill Thompson regarding maintenance fees.I did receive the attorney letter, but that was before the Resort fully closed in November. Haven't heard a word since.
This property is a timeshare so its fully furnished with fully equipped kitchen, pull out sofa in living (a plus) nice bedroom, large oceanfront view & large balcony. very close to all shops & casinos, walkout door to Dunkin Donuts. Very very friendly staff… would recommend to family & friends without a doubt. ..
The decor in the rooms are dated but the rooms are prety spacious. They have rules in place that the hotel does not get rowdy with party goers and drunkards. Definitely nice if you just need an inexpensive location near the boardwalk to get to the hot spots in casinos and restaurants on the boardwalk.
Our stay took place August 15th through the 17th. We were in town for the Darius Rucker concert on August 15th. Being the middle of August, and a Saturday, the rates all across town were high. La Renaissance had the best rates we could find for a boardwalk property so we took a chance on it. The results were average….More
I don't know why anyone would be unhappy with this property.I read some unflattering comments regarding the cleanliness of the rooms and they are not true. Our unit was spotless. Much better than a lot of other places we have stayed. This is not some slick, shiny place with a casino downstairs. This place is homey. Perfect for a…More
Stayed two nights. Apartment was huge and had everything we would need. Right on boardwalk, ideal for visiting beach. Yes the garage is tight and there's a rather claustrophobic car lift to get you between floors, but we coped! Building looks rough from outside but don't let that deceive you. We actually wished we could have stayed longer here
Tip: Arrive early to request a balcony, oceanfront room. Our ocean-view room did have an OK view out a bay window, but we'll ask for the oceanfront next time. Many reviews mention the garage. If you've got a full size car, and can't properly back it into a spot, maybe you should pay for the parking lot. Tip: Use the…More
Hotel employees were very helpful. The water pressure in the bathrooms is great. The appliances and furniture could use some upgrading but the beds were comfortable and the view was nice – right on the boardwalk. We paid to park at the lot across the street but there is a parking garage under the hotel. Overall a good value.
Stayed here for a weekend with Friends. We had a two bedroom unit that was pretty decent. I am a timeshare owner and this was just "OK". Clearly the hotel is older but all of AC is up to interpretation at this point. My only issue was the bathroom wasn't well maintained and the towels were just tossed into the…More
The hotel was comfortable and the reception staff were very helpful and pleasant. The televisions in the living room was probably an old 26 inch screen and in the bedroom even smaller. Surprised not to see large flat screens. Parking is horrible!! It is indoor with very little room to manipulate. If you have a larger car and it is…More
