, Great way to reach the summit if you can't drive up (ie afraid of heights). Plan ahead the weather can be dreadful. For more information see my post on Mt. Washington road trip. Don't miss the visitor center at base of railroad.
We stayed in the Octagon building, which could have been really cool. We pulled up to the building after checking in only to find that the building was locked. After walking down the hill to the lobby, we were told that we could only access the Octagon through a hallway from the main building and then an elevator or stairs…More

Quiet, reasonable, beautifully maintained oasis, perfect for visitors to Loyola Univ. or Towson. I stumbled on this gem a couple of years ago, and always seek it out for an occasional overnight while visiting my Loyola student. Continental breakfast is ok, bolstered by Starbucks coffee.
The first night we got there the air conditioner wasn't working. Room was mildly unpleasant the first night. Turns out it was it even turned on. So the maintenance guy came and fixed it. But it was during one of the hottest days of the summer. Nice hotel and friendly staff but if you don't have a car it's a…More

In preparation for my trip i did my due diligence by looking at TripAdvisor reviews. I was at first a little disappointed, after reading the many recent so-so TA reviews prior to my stay….More

Staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. McCulley's cafe is open for breakfast and dinner Monday – Friday. Continental breakfast every morning. Convenient to downtown. Light rail is walking distance. Grounds are beautiful.
My daughter was starting a job at Johns Hopkins and found the Conference Center on JHU page. What a magical spot, perfect room, great continental breakfast, FREE parking and on the light rail! What more could you ask for? Great staff.

We live in Maryland and our niece's wedding is May 21, the same day as the Preakness and several college graduations. We made the reservation in November. 2015. Valled and told them it would be a late check in because of a rehearsal dinner.Arrived at about 10:30p. I dropped my wife off at the locked front door, so I…More
