Pier 5 Hotel, Baltimore Hotels ReviewsAddress: 711 Eastern Ave, Baltimore, MD 21202-4694
We loved this hotel. It is right on the Harbor. So we did not have to drive anywhere. They have a great breakfast buffet. And, make sure you have VonJenay take care of you. She is great!!!!They also have a happy hour which was also great. We can't wait to go back again.
As the title states it's all about the location. You can't get a better spot, you can literally walk everywhere, dinners, aquarium, movies, museums. It's really the perfect spot. We got a corner suite, it was a little dated but very clean … breakfast buffet is nice and everyone is really accommodating.Room service was great too!
Upon entered our room that was a "harbor view" room, there was an immediate strong, musty smell throughout the room and in the bathroom. The closet was the only space where the smell was not evident.I opened the balcony doors for quite a while. It was a breezy afternoon. However, the smell did not dissipate. We did find a…More
The hotel sits on Pier 5. The public areas are nice and modern. Ruth Chris Steakhouse and McCormick and Schmidt are onsite. Rooms are dated and need updating desperately. If the conference had not been in the hotel, I would have moved to another location. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Charles,I am sorry to hear that you did not receive the level of service we pride ourselves on during your most recent visit. At our hotel we have 13 different room types, and of those with the upgraded harbor view make up about half. When booking your room there is a option to upgrade to this view if we…More top-traveler2njLevel Contributor 18 reviews 9 hotel reviews11 helpful votes
May need to just try it out. It is a little different than other well known hotel chains in the area. Quirks to overlook for the fantastic location! The staff has been extremely wonderful too. No problems encountered at all! The balcony is by far my favorite. We always try to get a room with outdoor space and this came…More

Pier 5 is located right on the water across from the aquarium & in easy walking distance dining & fun. We were there for a conference. We booked 2 queen beds & got a king room. Since, I was traveling with my coworker, we needed 2 beds, but they were overbooked!!!! The roll out bed was comfortable but not what…More
The location of the hotel is awesome. You cannot ask for a better location. The hotel sits directly on the harbor. The staff is friendly and will go out of their way for you. The rooms however are quite old and need updating. If you are very particular about your room (e.g. modern, etc), I would not recommend the hotel….More
My husband and I recently spent a couple nights here- we chose this hotel as it was featured on a groupon- pretty decent rate and included breakfast in the morning, as well as a bottle of wine- the price booked through groupon was better than the hotel rate so check out groupon if you want to stay here. I'm giving…More
Great location. Beautiful building. Kind and helpful staff. Easy parking. Get a room with a balcony…the view is spectacular. My daughter's wedding venue was here. WOW! What a great day. We had almost 20 rooms for out-of- town relatives. It was like a three day party. Happy hours and treats etc. It is small enough to feel almost like a…More Review collected in partnership with this hotel This business uses tools provided by TripAdvisor (or one of its official Review Collection Partners) to encourage and collect guest reviews, including this one.
