Chandler Inn Hotel, Boston Hotels Reviews

Address: 26 Chandler Street, Boston, MA 02116-5221

This hotel is a short walk from Back Bay train station. Small but welcoming, clean and quiet. Room does not have tea or coffee making facilities however is available at the front desk anytime. Bar/Restaurant adjoins the hotel The Trophy room (not sure that room service is an option though) I will happily stay again

Room modern, clean and comfortable but not much space for hanging clothes up. Good location, near to lots of restaurants and probably 15/20 minutes form Boston Common. Friendly receptionists , coffee available all day and night. Hotel is above a bar/restaurant called The Trophy room which we went into once and found it to be very good although didn't eat…More

Pros: Friendly helpful staff, perfect walking distance to Back Bay T stop, restaurants, Copley Square etc., good value compared to other hotels. Clean. Quiet. Free coffee tea in lobby.Cons: small room, tiny bathroom, no closet or safe. No coffeepot. We were there for 4 nights and even though it lacked space we would definitely stay here again because of…More

An excellent option for a couple, the rooms are not so big but enough to a few days at the town. Excellent service and nice people at the front desk. Room and bathroom are clean and in good conditions. We stayed at the 8th floor, in the room at the corner, and the room had a great view of the…More

This hotel is fairly well located about 10 minutes walk from Boston common and 20 minutes from the historic district. The staff were friendly and helpful providing useful guidance on city tours and places to visit. Our room, a queen, was adequate but rather old fashioned and quite small with very limited space to hang clothes. The shower room was…More

Stayed for two nights. Staff was very friendly and helpful. An older structure, but rooms were modern and very clean. I have high expectations for cleanliness when I travel and I would return in a heartbeat. Nice to have the bar/restaurant next door. Within walking distance of back bay shops and many points of interest. I would not hesitate to…More

We stayed here for three nights. The price was through the roof but that's to be expected when the Red Sox plays the Yankees. Room was very small with two twin beds. Beds were ok but not terribly comfortable. Not a lot of room if you have big bags. Bathroom was tiny. Shower was big enough but the shower hot…More

After 4 nights at the nearby Park Plaza Hotel for business, I moved to the Chandler Inn for an additional day to explore the city and was pleasantly satisfied. The Chandler is a few blocks' walk from the Park Plaza, in a good neighborhood an easy walk from Boston Common. My room had a queen bed, HD flatscreen TV, credenza…More

Nothing special but it is clean and quiet. Within walking distance from the back bay stop. The restaurant attached serves breakfast. Staff was not overly friendly or helpful but never rude. We left our bags there after check out and were fortunate they weren't stolen. They were never put away from the public view and when we went to get…More

Whenever a hotel has three negative strikes, I'm tempted to warn others. We stayed at the Chandler Inn for two nights at the end of August, 2016. The room was piping hot at bedtime and the wall thermostat didn't cool the room at all. We were told the following morning, after complaining to the front desk, that there is a…More
