Courtyard Boston Downtown Hotel Hotels ReviewsAddress: 275 Tremont St, Boston, MA 02116-5615
We stayed here for a visit and the rooms were so tiny and dark it was unsettling. The lobby is beautiful the bar is amazing(especially the bartender) but the rooms are the downfall but from what I hear all rooms in Boston downtown area are pretty small. Everything is close to this hotel its super convenient.
Dear RKMax,Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We appreciate your feedback, highlighting our fantastic bartenders and great location. Regarding our rooms, yes, our rooms are “cozy” and smaller than most rooms built today; we have created lots of comfortable places to relax, work and socialize in our lobby and Elks Room. Our smaller rooms are…More jameslP2282MICumberland, Rhode Island2 reviews
What more can I say…the service in this theater district hotel is great. Everyone treated us like family. The rooms are small but very nice and we had a nice view. Close to lots of great restaurants in the South End and Newberry Street.
Great place to stay, especially when seeing a show at the Royale! Two steps from the hotel! The room we had was huge and the beds were so comfy! A little noisy when the bars get out, but if didn't seem to last too long
Over the year, I've had different trips that happened to result in me staying at Courtyards. I normally like to stay at Westins. But let's face it, Westins prices are high – especially in cities.Since I was staying for an entire week in downtown Boston for work, I wanted to be fiscally responsible and chose to stay at a…More

Due to a family emergency I needed to stay near Tufts Medical Center. From the moment I checked in until I left I was made to feel like family. David Ofshay took such good care of us while Tufts was taking care of our daughter. I cannot thank you enough for how you made us feel.
Dear happytraveler 1965713Thank you for posting about David O. He is an amazing hospitality professional! We are grateful and proud to work with him. All of us at the Courtyard Boston Downtown hope that your daughter is on the mend. Best wishes and healing thoughts to her.More Mark FPortland, Me, United StatesLevel Contributor 50 reviews 8 hotel reviews24 helpful votes
Ill start with bad stuff: The rooms really are THAT small. And don't look for any real dining option. As far as Courtyards go, this one gets to be part of the club by location only: we had concert tix at the Wang directly across the street, and walked the Common and Newbury street from here. The good stuff?…totally the…More
Dear Mark F,Thanks for highlighting our terrific front desk associates, valet attendants and bartenders! We are glad you enjoyed walking around Boston Common and Newbury street from here. You are correct, our historic building does mean out guest rooms are small. However, it is a great location and we really appreciate you choosing to stay with us!More SSFNCCary, North CarolinaLevel Contributor 20 reviews 5 hotel reviews5 helpful votes
I stayed at this hotel for a week while I was in Boston for a conference. The property is beautiful. The hotel has been recently renovated with a black and white, modern theater vibe and it is very well done. We asked for an upgrade and were upgraded to the 15th floor. The room was plenty large enough, especially considering…More

Disappointed for a Courtyard. the rooms were extremely small, but met my overall need. There is no room service, so if you plan to spend the night in after a long day–you have to walk to get something to eat. The shower was small for the price, maybe because it was Boston? it was a bit noisy as well
Dear Dan L,Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We appreciate your feedback. You are right, our rooms are “cozy” and smaller than most rooms built today; we use to be an Elks Lodge in the 1920s. We have created lots of comfortable places to relax, work and socialize in our lobby and Elks Room. We…More lemons1MissouriLevel Contributor 82 reviews 71 hotel reviews96 helpful votes
This is an old Elks club, with an elegant lobby, and it's been redecorated using lots of gray, white and black. The front desk staff was very nice indeed, very patient with my friends and me who had lots of questions. I was in an 11th floor suite. There is no concierge service, and the 15th floor lounge has a…More

A very nice hotel close to the theater district. Friendly staff, outgoing. The lobby was modern, sleek and nice. They were popping popcorn when we arrived for Monday night football. The bar was fun to watch the game. Nice rooms, clean and cozy.
Thank you for your review. We enjoyed hosting you for your trip to Boston. We pop popcorn on all football game nights which is Sunday, Monday, and Thursday nights as part of our NFL promotion/partnership. Make sure on your next visit you try some of our fantastic NFL night specials in Post #10.Sincerely,Cristina MallahanAssistant General ManagerMore PreviousNext123456…10Updating list… Still looking for a hotel?
