We're feeling homesick for the Lenox!I requested an early check-in well in advance with the understanding that it would depend on availability, but to our surprise and delight, they had a room ready for us upon arrival at 6:30am! This was such a welcome relief after a red-eye flight and with an elderly mom. And what a wonderful thing…More
We travelled from England and spent the first six nights of our honeymoon at this fantastic hotel. We couldn't be happier with the experience. The hotel was a grand old building in the heart of Boston with a classic and comforting interior. We felt very at home in our room. We loved having breakfast in bed brought to our room…More
Great service. They make you a wood burning fire in your suite. Suite fridge stocked w complimentary beverages. Nice gym. Spacious beautiful bathroom. Concierge was stellar. Staff could not have been nicer. Love the location and the views. Would definitely stay here again.
The Lenox is such a wonderful grand dame of hotels in Boston. It combines the wonderful ambience of a time gone by with all the new amenities of hotel stay. All the employees were polite and eager to provide excellent service. The housekeeping staff were terrific. Attention to detail was wonderful in both the design of the rooms and the…More
We experienced most everything about this hotel during our stay. We were impressed with it all. The service was impeccable, especially the front desk workers. Breakfast in the ding room was most pleasant. Have lunch or a drink at the pub with sidewalk seating.
My wife and I stayed at the Lenox for 5 nights as the first leg of our our honeymoon.First Impressions – gorgeous building in a lovely part of Boston. Swanky interior, we had arrived before our room was ready so had a couple of drinks in the Irish pub on the bottom floor of the hotel. Check in quick…More
Really nice older hotel about 100 yards from the marathon finish line. As soon as you walk in you step back in time a little with classy elegance. The staff was just great all the time. I never experienced one person who wasn't friendly or helpful. Just one example; they give you Beekman 1802 caramel's with the turn down service….More
My daughter and I stayed here last weekend while touring colleges in the Boston area and couldn't have been more pleased. The location is very central – and there are a ton of shopping and eating options within a 5-minute walk. The staff was very friendly, rooms were clean and spacious and wifi was free. My only complaint was that…More
We arrived in Boston late on Saturday night and stayed at the Lenox Hotel until Monday, for a tour of New England. After the flight from the UK, we were delighted that the check-in process was effortless and that we were soon in a comfortable twin-bedded room. Now the Lenox has been around for a long, long time. And avoided in years past as age and neglect took its toll. No longer. On a recent weekend we strolled in to find a completely updated space with a good bar, restaurant and, more importantly, a wonderful staff to take care of us. The location is perfect in the Back…More
