Clean, elegant, downtown hotel. Walking distance to all attractions and trolley stops and subway. Shout out to the Concierge Ellen who was very helpful in helping us find our way around the city and great restaurants. Friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms. Would definitely recommend this hotel

All comunal areas of this hotel have TVs on at all hours with their volume on. In the communal coffee/tea room there is a jumbotron TV which befits a betting station in Vegas not a 4 star hotel in Boston. The lightening setup on the guest rooms make no sense. To have light in the room you have to turn…More Review collected in partnership with Loews Hotels and Resorts This business uses tools provided by TripAdvisor (or one of its official Review Collection Partners) to encourage and collect guest reviews, including this one.

We stayed two nights at Loews Boston before cruising up the East Coast. The hotel is a refurbished Police Precinct Station. It is located in the Back Bay section of Boston and accessible to the entire town. The room was nice. The staff was very helpful. The restaurant and bar were loud at night but enjoyable during the day.

Hotel was great with one exception the bathroom. Bathroom had dirt in the shower, a very discolored floor mat /carpet, lack of bath towels, they did not replace used shampoo/soap, and an under the counter light that blinked. We would have given 5 stars had it not been for the bathroom. This was an upgraded room so we wondered what…More Review collected in partnership with Loews Hotels and Resorts This business uses tools provided by TripAdvisor (or one of its official Review Collection Partners) to encourage and collect guest reviews, including this one.

Stayed over a weekend. Room was clean. Door staff couldn't or wouldn't help track lost phone left in Cab despite asking several times and finally having to request they check their security video.Kitchen and Room staff Awesome. Found Pub server hopelessly arrogant.

Located in Back Bay so there's that. Everything else not so impressive. Front desk staff pretty clueless most of the weekend. Doormen are great though – esp when you have a car to valet in this very busy area. Elevators are tiny and clunky (as in they jar to a stop – think BOOM) – reminds me more of Europe…More

Please accept my most sincere apologies, Travelingirl2010, for us not meeting your expectations. While I appreciate the positive comments made, I am, obviously, very disappointed in a number of your comments. There isn’t one GM that ever wants to hear their staff referred to as ‘clueless’ but without more information it isn’t possible for me to use your comments constructively…More R5894FLlindatBoston1 review

Great location, very friendly satff, warm ambiance, we were at the Loews for a family trip of 5 days and we will come back for sure. A wonderful stay from beginning to end. The staff were very helpful, the room was lovely, and the restaurant/bar was great. Excellent location as well, very easy to walk to everything. Also enjoyed the fact that the hotel used to be site of police headquarters. Added a nice historical element.Review collected in partnership with Loews Hotels and Resorts This business uses tools provided by TripAdvisor (or one of its official Review Collection Partners) to encourage and collect guest reviews, including this one.
