Wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. First trip to Boston. We loved the ambience of this property as well as the excellent location. You can walk from the house all the way to the waterfront if you do not wish to use the light rail system. Hours is located along an extremely welcoming and attractive street with restaurants…More

This was our second time staying at Newburyport Guest House and we'll continue to stay here whenever we visit Boston. The location is fantastic. From the airport it's easy to catch the Logan Express bus ($7.50) to the Back Bay. Get off at Hynes convention and you're just a 2 minute walk from the hotel.Pros: hot breakfast with eggs,…More

I travelled with my mum in the first week of October. We found the house was extremely clean, very comfy beds and the staff were the most friendly and helpful hosts. They recommended so many different places and were really helpful with our stay. We actually intended to visit Boston to see the Foliage change to red, however, we were…More

Nice accommodations in picturesque Back Bay. We were able to store our luggage in their lower-level, locked luggage room early in the day and so were able to start exploring the area right away. Newbury Street is full of beautiful architecture that houses shops and restaurants galore. Although our room was small and faced the street, we slept very well….More

Stayed here for 3 nights recently. We and the other couple in our party loved the Newbury Guest House. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. Our room was small (which is not usual in inns like this) but spacious enough for the 2 of us. Bathroom was small but clean and adequate. Bed was very…More

We stayed here after a Redsox game – it was a quick stroll from Fenway. Hotel was clean and nice, with good views of Newbury street. Centrally located. Breakfast was mediocre; probably should've skipped it.

2 nights in this wonderful hotel. FULL breakfast included. We arrived early from a cruise on the St Laurence River. Had a locked area to store luggage, nice parlor to unwind have tea/coffee. Walked around the neighborhood of "brownstones" with bars/retail/food/services and beautiful lush gardens/fall flowers everywhere on this tree lined street. We were on street side of third floor…More

Our family of 3 stayed at the Newbury Guest House for 4 nights in 20 Sept, out 25 Sept 2016. The room was clean and neat, and the staff very helpful and friendly. The location was unbeatable, and it was lovely to eat outside at one of the patio restaurants on Newbury Street and watch the sun going down. If…More

I stayed at the Newbury Guest House with the purpose of being close to Emerson College. What a fantastic choice this was! If anyone else is interested in visiting Emerson, the Newbury Guest House is about a mile away and a lovely 15-20 minute walk. This felt more like a home than a hotel too — it made my stay…More

Thank you! We hope your Emerson College student has a fabulous year!More terrykris2016Petaluma, California2 reviews

Very comfy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had room 310 which was at the side away from the street. It was quiet and comfortable even though there was temporary street construction going on day and night. The guest house is located on Newbury street which is a cool, vibrant neighborhood. Just about every building has a restaurant…More

Thank you! Yes that darn pavement street construction was approved without any notification to business owners,,,we are appalled but helpless. Thank you for taking time to review us, this is the way we continue to learn. We loved having you with us and thank goodness the noise didn’t bother you too much. We tried to move everyone to the alley…More PreviousNext123456…50Updating list… Still looking for a hotel?
