We were on the 9th floor, with a view towards State government buildings, facing west. Despite being near the North train station, it was very quiet. The room was spacious and irregular in shape, which gave it charm. All the facilities which you would expect were there, in terms of minibar, tea and coffee, bath robes and an umbrella. The…More

The location of this hotel is perfect. You can get to amazing parts of town by walking, or grab the trolley for a tour. The staff was amazing, Especially Luckas. When you need to know where to go, or what to do, as him! I already want to go back soon.

One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. For the four nights we were there it felt like home, I couldn't fault anything. We'd booked a standard room on the 8th floor, which was very quiet. It was certainly more than standard; warm, very comfortable accommodation, which was spotlessly clean, with good facilities (tv, radio alarm, coffee maker, modern…More

I wanted to give a shout out to the Boxer's amazing staff. I had reserved a room block at the Boxer last weekend for my wedding nearby, and there were some initial complications which were frustrating. However, Juzar took over the disappointing situation (he had nothing to do with the initial mishaps) and turned it into a wonderful experience by…More

The Boxer is a newer hotel that is between the North End and Beacon Hill, two of the most desirable neighborhoods in the city. As a first time visitor to the city, I thought the location was fantastic. The hotel is close to everything – the train, the Freedom Trail/Quincy Market, and many, many, many restaurants and bars. The neighborhood…More

We stayed here two days for a city trip. The hotel is very good located. Close to the underground and close to some coffee bars for breakfast. The service is friendly and helpful. The room was big enough, especially for a city hotel.Around the corner are some bars for good drinks.WIFI works perfect.

Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. They told me of the best spots to get coffee near the hotel. The room was very clean, but small and near the elevator. I would recommend staying in a room away from the elevator.

pazman55,Thank you for such a wonderful review! We are delighted to hear our staff was so accommodating. Next time you stay at The Boxer, please feel free to make the reservation directly with us so we can ensure your preference for a room away from the elevator is noted.Best Regards,KellyMore Sierra FLevel Contributor 3 reviews 2 helpful votes

I loved this hotel! It was gorgeous both inside and out. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating since we arrived early. Perfect location to T station and safe neighborhood as well. Would recommend this hotel 10/10 times!

We came here to celebrate our anniversary. What a friendly and attentive staff! The gentlemen at the door helped us with our bags and the valet parking cost only $44, which is only $9 more than the parking garage across the street ($35 a day.) Actually we probably saved money because we parked from 12:00pm on Sunday until 3 pm…More

The hotel is very nice. Small, but very clean and accommodating. Hotel staff is some of the nicest staff I have ever encountered in my travels. Everyone was consistently accommodating and helpful. Luckas helped me several times at the front desk from anything from helping me decide where to eat, to making sure I had proper directions, and even grabbing…More
