Embassy Suites by Hilton Charleston – Historic Charleston Hotel Hotels ReviewsAddress: 337 Meeting St, Charleston, SC 29403-6402
The room was OK however we were waking up each morning to the noise of construction. It really hurt the experience of the hotel. The staff was great however I wish I would have been notified that our room was in a construction area prior to booking.Review collected in partnership with Embassy Suites Hotels This business uses tools provided by TripAdvisor (or one of its official Review Collection Partners) to encourage and collect guest reviews, including this one.
This hotel is in a fabulous location. The Saturday Farners Market in Marion Square next door is one of the top 5 markets in the country. The staff (especially at breakfast) are so great and friendly. We stay here often and it never disappoints.Review collected in partnership with Embassy Suites Hotels This business uses tools provided by TripAdvisor (or one of its official Review Collection Partners) to encourage and collect guest reviews, including this one.
We are currently staying here, at the recommendation of a friend from Detyars Shipyard. Absolutely could not imagine a better place to stay! Enjoyed breakfast on the peaceful terrace, where Latrell made sure our coffee cups were topped up, and is as pleasant as can be! Enjoyed the free beverages in the evening, served by a beautiful and very accommodating…More
Hotel is in a great spot on upper King street away from a lot of the tourists found at the market area. Staff has always been friendly and professional. Make sure to go to the daily manager's receptions!
Had reservations based upon website pictures. Surprised that an Embassy Suites could present so well. FALSE ADVERTISING!!! They assigned a room with NO windows. The carpet throughout the building was disgusting, old and dirty. It was worse in the room. There is no way I could fathom going barefoot there. Cancelled reservation secondary to false advertising, not fit for my…More
Wonderful hotel in true southern style in the historic area of Charleston, South Carolina. Beautiful set up of the lobby of this hotel as well as the atrium area. It is set next to a most beautiful park adjoining this property. The staff was excellent with hotel hospitality, information regarding area tours and activities. Daily breakfest as well as a…More
This is hotel has a nice lobby and the staff was very professional. It's right in the historic district within walking distance of great restaurants, shopping and the College of Charleston. But it was on the expensive side and our room had dust balls on the wall.
We are stranded at Embassy Suites because of Hurricane Matthew. Could not be in a better place! We are safe with TV, Internet and food. Staff had gone out of their way to insure our comfort and more importantly, our safety. Chef Earl, Latrell, Ginger, Brett and others made us feel secure and comfortable. Southern hospitality at its best! Would…More
Clean, quiet, convent location. Beds are comfortable. Rooms a bit dated. The breakfast is great. The afternoon free drink and appetizers a nice touch. The bell staff is top line. The registration staff need some work training. A bit rude most of all they seem bored and not helpfull.
The free breakfast was a highlight! You can sit inside or outside! The chef Earl was the best omelette maker and all the servers were so sweet and accomodating! This was the best location for a hotel in the historic district! You could just dial 0 and ask forsomething and it was at your door in minutes!Review collected in partnership with Embassy Suites Hotels This business uses tools provided by TripAdvisor (or one of its official Review Collection Partners) to encourage and collect guest reviews, including this one.
