I did not like the hotel. Pay attention when you book it by its site, because there is a special rate for people from the government, and I chose it wrongly. After receiving an email confirmating my booking, I sent it to the hotel but they did not advice of my mistake, although it was clear that I am not…More

I booked this hotel on Priceline a few months ahead of the October Chicago marathon and thought I was getting a 3 star stay. The hotel itself isn't bad but located in a dicey location- blight all around. Chinatown is 2 blocks away and overall food options aren't bad outside the hotel. The options inside are quite mediocre. The worst…More

Nice hotel, as per title very clean and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.Only downsides were; cafe being closed, quite noisy location, I'm aware It's in a city but it's very close to train track. Noise wasn't a massive downside, but people may want to be aware of it if they're light sleepers.

We look forward to seeing you on your next trip to Chicago.More Chad CChicago, IllinoisLevel Contributor 4 reviews 3 hotel reviews1 helpful vote
I stayed at the South Loop once again on a weekend trip to the hotel. As usual I was very pleased with the hotel and my stay. The price is right far cheaper than the downtown hotels. FREE PARKING which is very nice. My room was excellent, very spacious, I sleep great. The staff brought us a couple of extra…More Review collected in partnership with this hotel This business uses tools provided by TripAdvisor (or one of its official Review Collection Partners) to encourage and collect guest reviews, including this one.

I was in Chicago for a Veteran's conference. I chose Chicago South Loop, because of the reviews and for the fact that it had on-site parking for guests. My truck was vandalized and broken into. It seems purely because I have Veteran license plates. They spray painted over the "Veteran" on the license plates, keyed the vehicle, and then stole…More Review collected in partnership with this hotel This business uses tools provided by TripAdvisor (or one of its official Review Collection Partners) to encourage and collect guest reviews, including this one.
Greetings -We are sincerely sorry to hear about your experience at the hotel with your vehicle being targeted and vandalized. We are highly upset at the fact that not only was your car targeted, but that as a veteran, this was also vandalized as well. We thank you for your service to this country and know that we are…More Frank HMedina, OhioLevel Contributor 10 reviews 4 hotel reviews3 helpful votes
This was the first time my husband has stayed with me at the Chicago South Loop Hotel as I have stayed a few times before. We were pleasantly surprised at getting a corner, renovated room. Two other family members booked rooms based upon my recommendation of being close to Chinatown and the free gated parking lots. We did use the…More

We arrived on a Thursday several hours before check-in time and were given our room immediately, which was much appreciated. Because we were staying for 6 days the desk also "upgraded" the room, initially a nice touch. But when you spend enough time in a hotel to have unpacked and put clothing and toiletries in drawers and cabinets, you start…More

I had a great experience staying 2 nights at the Chicago South Loop Hotel. It was within walking distance of the McCormick Convention Center, which is where my business meeting was located. It was also within walking distance of the L, so I could travel easily from O'Hare to the hotel via the trains.Review collected in partnership with this hotel This business uses tools provided by TripAdvisor (or one of its official Review Collection Partners) to encourage and collect guest reviews, including this one.

Best place to stay in Chicago south loop area. Rooms are large and clean. Exercise room is also very convenient. Workers are always friendly, even if they can't solve all issues. Only persistent drawback is the slow/not working elevator — but building is short so taking stairway is fine. Stayed here several times over the years, always nice. Convenient to…More Review collected in partnership with this hotel This business uses tools provided by TripAdvisor (or one of its official Review Collection Partners) to encourage and collect guest reviews, including this one.

I stayed sept30-oct2 and when we first arrived my son found candy in the drawer I'm assuming from a previous guest. The walls where a little bit dirty and the bathroom was not fully cleaned. However, when I checked out yesterday I realized I forgot my mac book air and the hotel staff are not being sympathetic and they are…More
Greetings deedriaw,Thank you for your review. It is disappointing to hear that your experience with us was less than stellar. When a guest reports an item missing, we check the room and also ask the housekeeper if they saw the item. These procedures were followed and unfortunately, like most hotels, we are not responsible for guest’s lost items. Thank…More PreviousNext123456…133Updating list… Still looking for a hotel?
