V.I.R(Very Important Runner) Inside", "Good Luck from team Hampton!!!"

Really, a stunning property. Location is perfect, and the renovation to incorporate the Motor Club theme, impeccable. Rooms, while small, are well arranged to maximize efficiency. Check in was efficient – a bit sterile, but clean, none the less. Room 1509 – while a queen (we requested a king, not told of the bed change, but at an employee rate,…More

Everything was perfect at a great price. Absolutely will stay there again. Stayed at the Hampton Inn Chicago Downtown/N Loop/Michigan Ave from Oct 7-10 for the Chicago Marathon weekend and I was very pleased with my choice. Took Blue Line Train from O'Hare to Clark and Lake Station and hotel is approximately 5 mins walk. Train costs $5. Check-in was very fast. I had arrived early but room was ready and I…More

Room is small, but king size bed was quite comfortable and room was decorated nicely and was very clean. Breakfast buffet was nice. Free internet and elevator required card to get to floors for added security.Review collected in partnership with Hampton This business uses tools provided by TripAdvisor (or one of its official Review Collection Partners) to encourage and collect guest reviews, including this one.

In town for the marathon. Location was perfect! Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful! Loved that they had signs for marathoners and a personal note. The elevator broke on day one of our stay, but was fixed quickly. Loved the decor on the inside and how they kept parts of the old Chicago Motor Club. Our only issue…More

Good location to get around on foot and see Chicago. We walked to Navy Pier, Millennium Park, restaurants, etc. The lobby is beautiful. The staff was friendly. Other reviews have complained about city noise (sirens and such) but it was not a problem in my opinion. You hear them, obviously, because you are in the city, but it's not constant.Review collected in partnership with Hampton This business uses tools provided by TripAdvisor (or one of its official Review Collection Partners) to encourage and collect guest reviews, including this one.

We had two double queen rooms for one night, and our stay was amazing. We made a mistake with the reservation, arriving one day earlier than we made the reservation but the manager at the front desk was very helpful and we were able to check in when we arrived. We were able to check in at 8am, when we…More

We stayed here for 2 nights and I really wanted to give it a 5 – the building is beautiful, the location is perfect for exploring, and the staff were all friendly. We were on the 15th floor, and our room had high ceilings, was clean and still looked new.Two things are holding it back though:1) the is…More
