I stayed here with a group for a conference. There are many things to celebrate about this hotel, namely the location, the staff and the beautiful art deco in the original hotel tower. The pool is really beautiful. The staff were very helpful and made the stay very enjoyable.I did struggle with the breakfast buffet (being gluten intolerant and…More Review collected in partnership with this hotel This business uses tools provided by TripAdvisor (or one of its official Review Collection Partners) to encourage and collect guest reviews, including this one.

This is a fantastic hotel in a fantastic location. The staff is extremely professional. The room was well appointed and I had a great view of the city. As an IHG Spire Elite member, immediately after check-in, a plate of fruit and a water was delivered to my room. As I said previously, the location is second to none right…More

Stayed here for 2 nights this week. Check in was quick and easy as was my departure.. Two towers, I stayed in the tower off the left of the lobby, above the Starbucks. Stayed on 21st floor – no view except into the condos across the street, Room was pretty plain and basic. Two twin beds, shower in tub. Not…More

I stayed at this hotel for a full week on business. It's perfectly situated for business or leisure, right on the main upmarket shopping street with most of the major attractions (Institute of Art, Cloud Gate, Millennium Park, Hancock building, Lake Michigan and Navy Pier) within easy walking distance so it was easy to see a lot of the city…More

The Intercontinental is a full service hotel right in the heart of MIchigan Ave, near the Tribune Building. There is everything you would expect from a top tier hotel including valet, concierge, shoe shine, great restaurant (Michael Jordan Steakhouse), wine bar, pool, fitness center etc. The service was polite, efficient and non-intrusive-exactly as it should be. The room was large…More Review collected in partnership with this hotel This business uses tools provided by TripAdvisor (or one of its official Review Collection Partners) to encourage and collect guest reviews, including this one.

My daughter, granddaughter and I stayed at the Intercontinental for one night – we wished we would have had more time to stay longer! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay – beginning with finding out we had received an upgrade to an amazing suite. The suite was beautifully appointed and we had a wonderful time exploring the magnificent rooms! The view…More Review collected in partnership with this hotel This business uses tools provided by TripAdvisor (or one of its official Review Collection Partners) to encourage and collect guest reviews, including this one.

I traveled in October for business. I was impressed that the hotel was in the heart of the city on Michigan avenue. It is directly across the street from Nordstrom. Room had a great view of lake. Room was very clean and of a modern decoration. Check in and expedited check out were great. All in all, a great place…More

The best thing about this hotel, one of many high-end places to stay in Chicago, is the incredible 25 yard indoor pool in an amazingly ornate room. It appears to date from the 1920s but is very up to date functionally and cosmetically, if a little warm for serious lap swimmers. For this pool, I stay in this hotel every…More

Dear Khenami,Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. Our beautiful pool was constructed in the late 1920s when the facility functioned as the Medinah Athletic Club. We have since renovated it into a hotel, and make great efforts to preserve the classic charm of the era, all while continuously updating features of the hotel…More Scott JMaui, HawaiiLevel Contributor 17 reviews 5 helpful votes
