Travelodge Hotel Downtown Chicago Hotels ReviewsAddress: 65 E Harrison St, Wabash St & Harrison St, Chicago, IL 60605-1614
, I was staying in Chicago for a conference at the convention center. The room was clean and comfortable. The heater worked great, though I wish I could have stopped a draft from the window. The staff was terrific. It was 24 degrees outside, and the bellman still went outside to hail a cab for me.Kudos.
Room was very small and the bathroom was even smaller! room was cold and the window unit for heat was blowing cold air.Our room was across from the elevators and that became a very noisy location throughout the night as other guests arrived back to hotel.Plan on adding an additional $40 per day to the cost for parking.Review collected in partnership with Travelodge This business uses tools provided by TripAdvisor (or one of its official Review Collection Partners) to encourage and collect guest reviews, including this one.

The hotel staff was wonderful and very accommodating!! The hotel, although obviously very old, was clean and pretty! The room was clean with a great view of the city. The only 2 complaints I had were: 1) it had an old window air conditioner that was noisy and that, added to 2) the sounds of the train through the night,…More

Really surprised how big the room was for a downtown hotel, nearly twice the size of some. Very old fashioned and no double glazing on the windows so the nearby trains can be noisy if you are a light sleeper. Staff were excellent, ready to help when needed.Handy for red line subway to Wrigley, plenty of fast food places…More

I was in town for the Chicago Marathon, so I chose Travelodge due to it very convenient location to the entrance and exit from the marathon, and its very reasonable price. It as around $200 cheaper per night than the surrounding hotels, despite having a better location to the marathon start and finish. The rooms were also clean, and the…More

I stayed here in order to have quick, easy access to the Chicago marathon start/finish area, and it did the trick. Nothing fancy, but like all hotels in the area on marathon weekend, the price was much higher than it would normally be (marathon runners are always gouged on hotel prices on marathon weekends in any major city). But it…More Review collected in partnership with Travelodge This business uses tools provided by TripAdvisor (or one of its official Review Collection Partners) to encourage and collect guest reviews, including this one.
Great location, considering we were there for the marathon and the hotel was full, the service was great. We had a problem with our room, and because there were no other rooms available they upgraded our room inmediately with no charge. Despite been close to the metro tracks, the noise is not as disturbing as you would think, we had…More

We stayed here for the 2016 Chicago Marathon – it was in a great location for the race, the rooms were clean, the staff was good, and overall we were happy with the hotel. The rooms could use a bit of updating, but they were perfectly serviceable. We travelled to the hotel by bus (from Midway Airport) so I don't…More
