My company paid a lot for a room here and when I arrived it was very tiny. My room had a queen size bed in it and on each side of the bed was barely a foot of space. There was barely any room to put your belongings and hardly any room to get dressed. When I looked up other…More Review collected in partnership with this hotel This business uses tools provided by TripAdvisor (or one of its official Review Collection Partners) to encourage and collect guest reviews, including this one.

We had a corner room facing the Magnificent Mile. Our roo was very quaint and comfortable. The view from the corner windows was absolutely amazing, best at night.when the city was glowing. The lobby is spacious and inviting. The breakfast buffet offered was a bit expensive, (but it is Chicago) yet very tasty and filling.

Arrived 4 hours before check in and was up graded to a suite which was ready. Had a corner room with a view of Michigan Ave. All the staff was very friendly. Visited Chicago for my girl friends birthday, she enjoyed the hotel and loved the room. Noticed there are many complaints of small elevators and hallways. It is a…More

The reception was perfect, very sympathetic, pleasant and provided excellent service. The room is quite good, with good wi-fi and comfortable bad. The hotel location is almost perfect, nearby the best stores, restaurants and other city attractions.

Stayed here on a whistle stop 2 night visit to Chicago. Hotel was nice enough, nothing wrong with it at all but it didn't blow my mind. The room was tiny and the bathroom even smaller,I think I've even stayed in bigger rooms in NYC, but it was very clean and the staff were great. Breakfast was lovely in the…More

Excellent property. An old hotel with charm that has a modern vibe to it. Staff was very professional and courteous. They were very helpful with answers to my questions. Hotel was clean and neat. Stayed in a standard room, which was small (think European size) but it was fine for the two of us. Marble bathroom and nice decor.

Just buzzing through town and need a less expensive Magnificent Mile hotel. This was the perfect stop. The rooms are pretty small but all we needed was a bed. Very cool older hotel right in the middle of everything. I really recommend checking this place out. The pool was pretty small but we were not there to swim.

Very helpful staff. Rooms are still small, but that is ok . We aren't there to sit in ourrooms. We ate Breakfast every morning. Very good menu.Service needs a little work.We love the location!!!Concierge very helpful in suggestions and reservations .

Overall the stay was pleasant. One of the few hotels we've ever visited that doesn't have reception on the main entry ground floor. It is common in Chicago to see a Fire Arms prohibited sign at the entries such as this hotel in the window.Once in have to take a lift to second floor where reception, concierge desk and…More See all photos

Took a risk with Priceline and ended up at this hotel. Great experience from check-in to check-out. The guy checking us in started up conversation and learned that we were there to celebrate our birthdays. He upgraded our room and gave us free drink tickets for their bar. Hotel was very clean, service was great and bed was comfy. Location…More
