Village Inn of Destin Hotel Hotels Reviews

Address: 215 US Highway 98 East, Destin, FL 32541

I stayed here with a friend and we were impressed with the comfort of the beds. The room was very clean and in a nice location and the staff was very courteous to our needs. I will definitely stay at this place again because the experience was a good one.ReportHelpful?Thank Paula M Steve BOwensboro, KentuckyLevel Contributor19 reviews7 hotel reviews8 helpful votes

My best friend and I stayed here the second week of October. It's so close to everything and the rooms were modernized (inside), so we didn't mind that the outside wasn't fixed up yet. It was so nice being able to walk to the Harbor Walk and other restaurants. Visit the Red Door practically right across the street, which was…MoreReportHelpful?1Thank Steve B CT7400Birmingham, AlabamaLevel Contributor41 reviews20 hotel reviews31 helpful votes

Our family rented several rooms here during the Destin Seafood Festival at the beginning of October. Everything was as advertised. Breakfast was decent, and the staff members were very friendly and professional. For the price of the rooms, it was a good deal. Maybe the best part was the location — right across the street from the boardwalk, so we…MoreReportHelpful?1Thank CT7400 John CLevel Contributor16 reviews5 hotel reviews4 helpful votes

Stayed overnight with a friend. Found this place online and the price was so low I feared it would be a dump. It's Not! Located on the main strip (US 98) across the street from great restaurants and the boardwalk, a perfect spot. It is dated but clean and well kept. Decent standard free breakfast. Nice pool. Friendly staff. Would…MoreReportHelpful?1Thank John C Andy WCrestview, FloridaLevel Contributor11 reviews2 helpful votes

Yes, the rooms are dated, yes the place could use some renovating, yes it is not what you drove 500 miles to get to… but, if you want to spend time at Destin Harbor, this is the place. We were there during the Destin Seafood Festival, a short walk across the street and you're there. We had a small pet,…MoreReportHelpful?1Thank Andy W Mason SLevel Contributor31 reviews2 helpful votes

Phone didn't work, safe didn't work, bed was hard, TV was tiny, no wifi, door was glued back together where it had been kicked in previously. Worst of all, the bathroom had a mold and mildew smell that was awful, and the ceiling next to the bathroom fan was falling in. Worst stay ever.ReportHelpful?Thank Mason S hollblev2 reviews

Hotel was not to bad for one night. It was clean. If you have a c-pap machine beware because the power outlets are set on a timer. My husband was woken up twice with his turning off. Not a goid thing at all.ReportHelpful?Thank hollblev angrybirddubaiEmirate of Dubai, United Arab EmiratesLevel Contributor3 reviews2 helpful votes

The room was super old. Considering paying 119$ per night you definetely expect more. The room was super humid. Bathroom was not clean at all. There was a huge spider net in the room. That was a good sign how they cleans the rooms actually. I killed huge insect in the room as well. When I went to frontdesk to…MoreReportHelpful?Thank angrybirddubai Admin VIllage I… ., Manager at Village Inn of Destin, responded to this reviewThank you for staying with us! Due to Florida's weather, most people leave air conditioning in the room on all the time. If you leave it running at it's lowest setting, condensation builds up and creates that wet feeling in the air. The staff here experiences that in our own homes. It's a sad state of living in the humid…Moretommo_t1000London, United KingdomLevel Contributor30 reviews15 hotel reviews9 helpful votes

We were apprehensive given the reviews, but went for it. Room was functional, but the air con was not up to the task of keeping the room cool and dry in August.Shower was tepid, no cold water for teeth brushingBreakfast was free but virtually non existent. Luckily Waffle House was next door.MoreReportHelpful?1Thank tommo_t1000 Admin VIllage I… ., Manager at Village Inn of Destin, responded to this reviewThank you for staying with us! We do have maintenance on site that would love to fix any air conditioner in any room as it is Florida and we are highly aware of their importance. Although, keeping it dry inside in Florida weather with an air conditioner on full blast is about as difficult as getting rid of all the…MoreLisagtankersleyJasper, TexasLevel Contributor81 reviews6 hotel reviews36 helpful votes

We stayed at the Village Inn for 5 nights. It has most all of the amenities you might expect except the wifi is terrible. You have to go sit in the office to get online at all. The staff is very friendly and helpful with directions and info on activities and restaurants. The room was really large with a VERY…MoreReportHelpful?1Thank Lisagtankersley PreviousNext123456…24Updating list… Questions? Get answers from hotel staff and past guests.
