A friend booked us at this resort for 2 nights (Friday & Saturday). We came in very late on Friday and wanted to go out. Checked in and the room seemed warm. Turned the a/c down but when we came back the room was very hot still but didn't want to complain that early in the morning. The next day…MoreReportHelpful?Thank timnastics Rony ALebanonLevel Contributor92 reviews24 hotel reviews25 helpful votes

Very nice location, good food, nice pool, wonderful concierge service, the inconvenience is the cleanliness. The room service isn't on a minimum standard level, we always had to remind them to do the room, and when we come back it's not cleaned as expected. Value for money 6/10.ReportHelpful?Thank Rony A ktrulsrudOslo, NorwayLevel Contributor6 reviews5 hotel reviews1 helpful vote

Friendly staff and clean rooms, but it was no restaurant for breakfast. Only a cup of coffee. Long walk to the nearest shopping centre where we could by some food for breakfast. Internet was on and off. Very weak in the room, but better by the pool.Three pools, one warm, maked our day. A new building under construction close…MoreReportHelpful?Thank ktrulsrud Colton BSan Antonio, TexasLevel Contributor47 reviews3 hotel reviews12 helpful votes

We booked our room for one night on Hotel Tonight because it was a good deal. We did not have high expectations, although the pictures on the website looked pretty good. When we arrived Marty greeted us and took care of all of our needs. He helped us print out important documents and showed up to our room, even helping…MoreReportHelpful?Thank Colton B CarmineCampioneDallas, Oregon, United StatesLevel Contributor31 reviews3 hotel reviews6 helpful votes

The accommodations were clean the staff was courteous the location was excellent; all else was wrong. The accommodations are simply hotel Like and not noise insulated so you can hear all neighbors, there is no Spa (which I required and went there for a 'spa day'), also I'm not sure how it's a resort.Sad!ReportHelpful?1Thank CarmineCampione Allan_JourneysJacksonville, FloridaLevel Contributor13 reviews4 hotel reviews5 helpful votes

The Royal Palms Resort & Spa did not live up to glowing reviews and descriptions. There was no restaurant or bistro onsite, contrary to the advertisements. One of the more annoying features is the parking situation. There are just a few parking spots scattered around 3 sides of a city block and you have to drive around trying to find…MoreReportHelpful?2Thank Allan_Journeys BubblejonesLee, MassachusettsLevel Contributor22 reviews6 hotel reviews9 helpful votes

We have stayed at The Royal Palms many, many times in the past. It was almost completely empty this time, while all the other guest houses in the neighborhood were full. Our main complaint was that they wanted to charge us $38 for a late checkout, which we did not want to pay. We were told by Kleber at the…MoreReportHelpful?4Thank Bubblejones D9945QRpeterhHertford, United KingdomLevel Contributor9 reviews5 hotel reviews1 helpful vote

Checked in late & bathroom not clean. Changed rooms and all was fine. Bedrooms large, fresh & perfect. Needed to prompt for daily room clean – then everything was spot -on.Staff were attentive – and everything was as described. Part work/part holiday – ideal.ReportHelpful?Thank D9945QRpeterh pcourtWashington, DCLevel Contributor61 reviews28 hotel reviews34 helpful votes

I needed a place to stay in Fort Lauderdale for the weekend and I knew I wouldn't be spending too much time at the hotel, so I didn't want to break the bank on one of the big luxury hotels in the area. The Royal Palms was a great choice. It's only a block from the beach. I was greeted…MoreReportHelpful?Thank pcourt Julie LCaye Caulker, BelizeLevel Contributor4 reviews

We had an unexpected longer stay due to hurricane Matthew and I am so glad we did because we were taken care of so well by the staff. When everything was closed due to the storm, even the hotel's kitchen, they whipped up a few sandwiches for my husband and I (he had some health issues and could not wait…MoreReportHelpful?Thank Julie L PreviousNext123456…69Updating list… Questions?
