Upon arriving the the hotel for check-in I was a bit worried. The exterior was a bit rough. I am glad that I didn't let that deter us from checking in. We booked for only one night to hold us over before departing on our cruise. The lady at check-in was nice and helpful. We asked for a restaurant and…MoreReportHelpful?1Thank yayeezy DlarryBSaint Augustine, FloridaLevel Contributor17 reviews8 hotel reviews7 helpful votes

We checked in to this hotel for one night before flying out of Fort Lauderdale airport. Check in was a breeze. This hotel is currently under new ownership and renovation. The grounds are clean and the staff is extremely friendly. The room was recently renovated. They still haven't decorated the room so it seemed a bit sterile but it was…MoreReportHelpful?1Thank DlarryB AnastasiajayPembroke Pines, FloridaLevel Contributor27 reviews22 hotel reviews22 helpful votes

First and foremost, the location is wonderful. Right next to the not-so-populated area of the beach but within walking distance of the masses. And the fairy tale ends there. I felt so grossed out that I couldn't sleep. The room was old, outdated, and it felt sticky. The outdoor area was pretty gross as well. I wouldn't get in that…MoreReportHelpful?Thank Anastasiajay Esti K, General Manager at Sea Beach Plaza, responded to this reviewHi AnastasiajayThe hotel is under new ownership since the end of March 2016.The hotel looks completely different since it's under new ownership; clean, updated, nice, many compliments from all the guests that have stayed with us recently. It does not feel safe in the rooms. Single key room. Inside rooms all have pushed in locks that don't work, like they have been deliberately broken. Hairs all over sink. BIG clump of hair on bath towels. Dirty dishes in the cupboard. Too scared to turn down blanket to see sheets. Too scared to sleep on blanket. This is…MoreReportHelpful?Thank MarryLouise_ Esti K, General Manager at Sea Beach Plaza, responded to this reviewDear Marry Louise. We apologize for any inconvenience. We just purchased the hotel & we started an extensive renovation. All doors in the hotel are in the process of being replaced. In regard to the hair in the room: we replaced all the towels, sheets, mattresses & pillows, to make sure that something like that, never happens again. Everything is…MoreRosa MMilwaukee, Wisconsin2 reviews

Everything in room is very old. Especially the bathrooms and kitchen appliances. Couldn't use anything for fear of something blowing up. Nothing complementary but at least they were polite. Location was good but that was about all.ReportHelpful?Thank Rosa M Steve FLondon, United KingdomLevel Contributor47 reviews20 hotel reviews18 helpful votes

I was only in this place for one night, so I'm not sure I'll be able to fully appraise the venue, but here goes. It's really close to the south end of Fort Lauderdale beach. It's tucked just off the main road. These are plus points. The room was a fair size. I suspect this is because I had a…MoreReportHelpful?Thank Steve F Laura H1 review

Just stayed at Sea Beach for a week. I stayed 111 this time. It had a kitchen and two queen sized beds. It was very clean. I asked for an iron and a hair dryer and was given these items right away at the front desk. The pool is beautiful, and the hotel is so close to the beach and…MoreReportHelpful?Thank Laura H Bruce HAjax, CanadaLevel Contributor87 reviews28 hotel reviews80 helpful votes

We stayed here one night prior to a Celebrity Equinox cruise. Its old and dated but the bed was good and the shower had hot water with good pressure and the front desk staff were very helpful. Close to the cruise terminal as well. Good location since the beach is across the street to the left and you can go…MoreReportHelpful?1Thank Bruce H rdaldryWaterloo, New York1 review

I have stayed here many times over the past five years. The location is perfect….the staff is always very helpful and i always enjoy my stay.I like it because i can walk to all the beach attractions. The room pricing is fair and i have stayed at some of the more expensive htels on the beach and been less happy.ReportHelpful?Thank rdaldry PreviousNext123456…13Updating list… Questions?
