The Victoria Park Hotel, Fort Lauderdale Hotels Reviews

Address: 855 NE 20th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304-3012 (Formerly Schubert Resort)

Arrived very late – reception closed. Used telephone at front door to arrange entry. Key was left attached to door of room which we thought was not ideal. Stayed for two nights pre-cruise. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed. Unfortunately we had chosen a basic room which was rather small with nothing to sit on except one…MoreReportHelpful?Thank Alison S MsSommelierGermanyLevel Contributor65 reviews25 hotel reviews34 helpful votes

Totally cool motel, 50's style, everything very clean, staff super friendly, easy walk to restaurants, shopping and beach. We had room 101, a king with private courtyard. We only stayed two nights, pre cruise, so didn't really use the courtyard, but it would be very nice to sit and relax with a drink. It's on a side street so nice…MoreReportHelpful?Thank MsSommelier shakeywnewcastleLevel Contributor100 reviews53 hotel reviews70 helpful votes

Following a cruise stayed for 3 days and were not disappointed. The hotel is in a very good location within walking distance to the Galleria and water taxis in a good area.On arrival at 11am our room was ready which was a bonus and throughout our stay the staff were all very helpfull which ensured our stay was without incident. The…MoreReportHelpful?Thank shakeyw Diane MLevel Contributor115 reviews20 hotel reviews33 helpful votes

We were looking for a great hotel near the beach for a reasonable price, and Victoria Park fit all our criteria and then some! Beginning with our terrific host Billy, our lovely rooms with a ni e kitchen area and step in shower, we were delighted with our choice. Plus a wonderful pool and hot tub were right outside our…MoreReportHelpful?Thank Diane M woopinOcean Shores, AustraliaLevel Contributor46 reviews24 hotel reviews13 helpful votes

We stayed here when catching a Seabourn Cruise. I piked this hotel because my wife wanted to go shopping and there is a large shopping centre 10 minutes walk away. I'm glad I did, I chose a higher standard room (King Suite ) and we were delighted . The room was very large and bright and the staff very good….MoreReportHelpful?Thank woopin Robert D1 review

Victoria Park Hotel is a great gem. If leaving for cruise this is a great place. Can't say enough about the staff Billy and Sergey! Left our car for the week we were on the cruise. Nice restuarants in area within walking distance. Will stay here again for sure if we leave for a cruise out of Fort Lauderdal. Victoria Park Hotel is a well maintained older complex in an urban setting. The structure is more like a motel (without the parking) that is inwardly facing a walled open courtyard with swimming pool and hot tub. There is limited on street parking. The staff was warm and friendly.ReportHelpful?Thank William C Barb R1 review

The hotel was nice except for other guests that were allowed to talk loudly in the court yard right outside of our room early in the morning and late at night. The breakfast was 9.00 per person which I felt was way overpriced for what was advertised as a continental breakfast.ReportHelpful?Thank Barb R Barry HLevel Contributor5 reviews3 hotel reviews

The approach right before the hotel is a little funky (neighborhood struck me as a tad rough) but, once inside, the property is an absolute gem. Son just got engaged, so Billy at the desk offered up a bottle of sparkling wine for FREE. We stayed in a queen suite, which was large and well appointed. I think the beds…MoreReportHelpful?Thank Barry H DickSearlePlattLevel Contributor22 reviews9 hotel reviews14 helpful votes

We returned early in the morning from a Caribbean cruise and used the hotel as a day base before flying out of FL Airport late that night. The hotel has excellent facilities and is a great place for a short (or longer ) stop. The manager on duty went out of his way to find us a room that was…MoreReportHelpful?Thank DickSearle PreviousNext123456…46Updating list… Questions? Get answers from hotel staff and past guests.
