Hello My Fellow Travelers!I stayed here in Nov. 2015* for the Texas PRIMA Conference. It has taken me a year to get around to finishing this review! Sorry about my friends! Luckily my memory is tip top for any kind of travel. Heck! I still have some restaurants I wanted to review from 6 years ago from my honeymoon…MoreReportHelpful?Thank posey8683 TthetouristHouston, TexasLevel Contributor75 reviews19 hotel reviews19 helpful votes

I stayed here on saturday with my kids, im glad I did, the hotel was clean, room was nice, view was nice ,checkout was fast, and they had lots of activities for kids. We couldn't enjoy them because we were there to perform at the grand opera house but we did get to make s'mores saturday night by the pool….MoreReportHelpful?Thank Tthetourist AmeescarLevel Contributor60 reviews16 hotel reviews30 helpful votes

I reserved a room at the hotel over a month ago. When I went to check in yesterday, I was told that my reservation had been cancelled because my credit card declined a $40 deposit two days prior. I only use my card to hold rooms, and then pay with another form upon arrival. I suppose that with a zero…MoreReportHelpful?Thank Ameescar MoodyGardensHotel, General Manager at Moody Gardens Hotel Spa & Convention Center, responded to this reviewDare Ameescar,Thank you for your comments about your recent stay at Moody Gardens. Enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean, staff was courteous and friendly…very willing to provide information. Would love to come back when the water park is open. Love the pyramids and the paddle boat. Also was able to enjoy the Christmas lights. We will return for pleasure.ReportHelpful?Thank Janet P kenrydolphPflugerville, TexasLevel Contributor16 reviews

I was there on business but I hoped to visit Dickens on the Strand. It was too cold and wet to enjoy that activity. It really seemed like a good hotel to bring a family to. Especially it you have children that are pre teen. I also enjoyed the use of the spa facilities. I found the spa staff to…MoreReportHelpful?Thank kenrydolph Sunny_SomaConcord, North CarolinaLevel Contributor3 reviews

The bad…… we could only stay one night! We had a great time and would stay here again if ever in the area. We were working a show at the Convention Center on Black Friday & Saturday after Thanksgiving (Home for the Holidays Holiday Market, which is on those days every year, lots of great vendors and holiday shopping). But we just live outside Houston, so we like to come to Moody Gardens on Thanksgiving Day, enjoy their buffet, then collapse until it…MoreReportHelpful?Thank Jax H Andrew S1 review

We chose Moody Gardens for a recent soccer coaches clinic and everything went perfectly! Normally changing locations for an event that has close to 1,000 attendees will have a number of problems because of all the changes. The Moody Garden's staff went above what most convention center staff would normally do to make sure our show was just how we…MoreReportHelpful?Thank Andrew S Don GLevel Contributor5 reviews3 hotel reviews

My wife and kids stayed here for an night last week while we attended Moody Gardens and the Festival of Lights.
