Left right before the fire so I sure hope they weren't damaged. Stayed 3 nights and it was wonderful. Very comfortable beds, nice fireplace and a huge room with a huge easy chair I'd like to take home with me. This is our favorite place to stay ! We've watched quite a few football games from the room with carry…MoreReportHelpful?Thank sandcastleinthesand Jeremy W1 review

We recently stayed at Riverhouse for short weekend getaway. This has become our go to hotel in Gatlinburg and never disappoints. We had room 306, two queens on the river. We haven't had much rain at all so the water level was pretty low. Our room, like them all, was very large and extremely clean. You'll read in almost every…MoreReportHelpful?Thank A TripAdvisor Member tnannaTNLevel Contributor206 reviews43 hotel reviews189 helpful votes

This was out first stay for just one night in conjunction with a hike to LeConte. We had a Riverside room with 2 beds, fireplace, balcony. It was a bit shabby but the room was large, price was very reasonable, and it was walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg. it also had a table w/2 chairs, microwave, mini fridge and excellent…MoreReportHelpful?Thank tnanna franco2251Stafford, VirginiaLevel Contributor6 reviews3 hotel reviews

This place was a pleasant surprise. I paid just under $200 (late October – off season) for two nights and got a wonderful room with a gas log fireplace, huge bathroom (with jet stream tub, a shower, and two sinks), and a balcony. Great location at end of the "strip" where all the restaurants, stores and bars are. Only complaint…MoreReportHelpful?Thank franco2251 sumshop1Nashville, Tennessee1 review1 helpful vote

The property has a nonsmoking policy that is not enforced. This is inconvenient for nonsmoking guests who would like to enjoy their balcony or have the balcony door open to get some air. The problem seems to be worse for the rooms facing the river where some guests go out on their balconies to smoke cigarettes. Who wants a room/balcony…MoreReportHelpful?1Thank sumshop1 kathyjo66Upton, KentuckyLevel Contributor5 reviews1 helpful vote

I read the reviews on here before and I was a little worried that the place would be very out dated and We were very surprised! It was Awesome. The room is huge, there is an oversized chain and ottoman that was the most comfortable chair ever! The bathtub\shower is huge, it's so very peaceful. Parking is good. We were…MoreReportHelpful?Thank kathyjo66 Dillon MLevel Contributor3 reviews3 hotel reviews1 helpful vote

I have stayed at the RiverHouse Motor Lodge over twenty times and have NEVER been disappointed, but when I stayed at the RiverHouse in The Park, I was disappointed. There was a carbon monoxide alert coming from the alarm, the bathroom was incredibly sketchy, and the drain gurgled up smelly gunk. The hotel refused a refund, and on our final…MoreReportHelpful?1Thank Dillon M pdemar1054Seminole, FloridaLevel Contributor48 reviews9 hotel reviews18 helpful votes

This is my third stay at this hotel. I love it because of the balcony overlooking the river. We have the grotto room next to the national park. The room has king bed, gas fireplace, jacuzzi bathtub. Every morning they bring you coffee or juice, donuts or toast included with the price of your room. The pool is on second…MoreReportHelpful?Thank pdemar1054 pony1947OhioLevel Contributor12 reviews4 helpful votes

We have been staying there over 25 years. We always get a room over the stream close to the dam………….peaceful and relaxing. Located close to the entrance to the Great Smoky Mtn national park , short walking distance to the trails along the stream, find a rock, sit down, take a deep breath …….welcome to God,s country!ReportHelpful?Thank pony1947 PreviousNext123456…31Updating list… Questions?
